re: [MERGED] Poll: Same Sex civil marriages, yes or no.
I feel that we might as well allow Same Sex civil marriages, because I have nothing against LGBT people!
They have the same rights as everyone!
Sadly, people in Africa, Jamaica and many other areas, they do not accept this!

There's no problem regarding church services as there's always been priests who are willing to perform a marriage style service even for civil unions... But as with any marriage it's not legal until you've signed the civil marriage register and that's what currently separates current and same sex marriages..
Voted YES of course

Voted - I don't care.
Who cares what it's called.
If you want to call it marriage, call it marriage.
If it quacks, flies, swims and walks like a duck..................it's a duck.

i have voted yes
if two people love each other enough to commit themselves to marriage i can see no valid reason to stand in their way .

What shocks me the most is that in this day and age there are those who still against this

Why should it shock you ? People are allowed their own views.

Voted yes.
If 2 people of the same sex are happy enough in their own skins who are we (the hetro's amongst us) to say otherwise. Live & let live.

re: [MERGED] Poll: Same Sex civil marriages, yes or no.
I actually find most religious people quite accepting these days.. It's the prats on a night out who think they can cure me who are more irritating...
Most of the "religious groups" who are against gays tend to be the groups who actually have no idea what Christianity means.. It's like comparing the Taliban to most Muslims
