Re: Netflix free for 6 months

I really don't think I'd use Netflix it if it was free.

Iplayer is all you need as the BBC only ones who make anything worth watching (God bless it )

I guess you are saying that without actually viewing the Netflix content yourself. There are good quality original dramas coming out every week on Netflix at the moment, and at less than a tenner a month, Netflix is extremely good value for money.

Whoops, sorry, I forgot you like all that black and white stuff. Yes, Talking Pictures and TCM for you, young man!!

Yeah Talking Pictures is terrific (have i mentioned that )

Not really interested in US dramas, Channel 4 is the only other decent and original UK output apart from the Beeb. (and i'm in my 40's so not that old you cheeky so and so...)

I quite like Netflix. Works fast (if you don't use the Tivo dedicated app) and has a decent choice of films/series , even more if you google the codes for stuff that doesn't appear in normal searches. Far superior to Amazon Prime imo.
On a side note, I couldn't work out why you look different, then I realised you've changed hats.

It works fast with the V6. It took a full minute to load with my old Tivo!

What about the British dramas? The Crown is brilliant.

I'm starting to consider getting a V6 now OB (been offered one free, twice now but rejected it as I send the content around house by RF from the scart). As you say the old Tivo is painfully slow to load, but OK once you're in. My bedroom TV loads up Netflix in about 5 seconds via wi-fi.

Re: Netflix free for 6 months

I've had the free 6 months twice and been an existing customer.
Just had to sign up for another 12 months but I was doing that anyway
