A watchdog has released a list of the most complained-about adverts of all time. There are some surprising results.
Anyone guessing what adverts provoked the most complaints might speculate along the lines of sex, violence, swearing, animal cruelty and blasphemy.
Wrong. A Kentucky Fried Chicken TV advert, which aired in 2005 and featured call centre workers singing with their mouths full of food, is the most complained about of all time.
Quote:
Numbers of complaints are growing. Over the last five decades the ASA has dealt with around 431,000 complaints - 31,000 were lodged in 2011 alone.
Apparently this webby thingy has made it easier for us to have a moan.

Re: What are your best and worse TV ads?

The sky adverts annoy me the most at the moment, particuarly that soundbite " ....believe in better". The Tivo advert irritates me too,it`s that Dr. Who fellers accent(sorry guys forgot his name, and sorry Scots it`s just his particular accent not all Scottish accents)

My best ad, has to be the current Mars advert, where a steward emerges from the crowd and acts as England goalie

The new Specsavers ads are quality: where the space shuttle accidently lands at Luton and the kid with the radio control car is trying to work it with his dad's garage door opener

The ee advert was OK to begin with but when you see it over and over again each night, it's just too long, but I love the wee dog!
