Hello, I'm looking for help with someone who has successfully port-forwarded on a virgin Hub 3.0 AND has proof of open ports.
It's a been a problem trying to get this to work and it is essential that I know how for my job. With Virgin being very uncooperative with trying to help me solve this issue.
I understand that Virgin have their own guide to it; but following the guide doesn't show the fact that the ports don't open on Virgin 3.0 devices. Is there any reasons for this?
Have successfully forwarded port 8080 on my Hub 3. I can now access my webcam from my mobile. I believe port forwarding only works if the firewall is enabled.
Apparently Virgin had an issue with the original Hub 3.0's that they launched; but thank-you for the confirmation - it's a help knowing it is possible and now I know that I need to make sure I have everything correctly done in the settings.

Two things spring to mind.
1 - Why is the OP not using the Business Service if it's so important ?
2 - I believe Hub 3 has a "feature" (ahem) in that opening ports can only be done in ascending order, otherwise it does not work.
