Guilty Pleasures.....
Time for a thread on your guilty pleasures... (Keep it clean !)
Mine is British sitcoms from the 1960's to 80's. I can easily justify classics like Dads Army/Steptoe/Only Fools, but sometimes I find myself watching crap like On the Buses/George & Mildred etc . The crapper the better. Something strangely compelling about them, which can never be recreated, although I see the BBC are unwisely trying to resurrect some of them. Can't think of anything decent sitcom's in the last decade.

Re: Guilty Pleasures.....
Vote #2 for Sports Mix, though I now find Lion Football Gums to be a cheaper alternative since the buy-out.
And shell-on prawns, hard to find these days. Our top cat and I share a bagfull in front of the tele occasionally.

Using a teaspoon to scoop out the remains of cheese sauce from the pan that didn't make it to the meal.
Very short shorts.

I was watching the Tommy cooper show from the late sixties the other day and yes the clothing and sets were seriously dated but his act was superb, could still have been doing it today with very minor tweaks. Minder I still like as well but that's dated badly. I also saw a pre george and Mildred man about the house that was so awful it was mildly entertaining
