Osborne on attack again - Cuts
http://news.sky.com/story/1718621/ge...-tax-increases
When things weren't bad enough. Osborne is planning huge tax rises. And more cuts.
I am certain the rich wont like that, we will get hit. And sadly the welfare budget will get hit again.
Where is all the millions going, that we are saving from the EU.
He is totally sick in the head

No money being saved from the EU as we are still members. If we left and wanted to trade with them, we'd still have to fund them so forget that money.
The inability to sell the Government's stakes in Lloyds Bank and RBS, the falling Pound, standstill in investment will all hit total tax receipts so the Government will try and make up the shortfall in the two ways you mentioned. Unfortunately, Project Fear is becoming Project Reality.

The money saved from the EU is small-fry in the context of government budgets. IIRC a drop of 0.5% GDP will equate roughly to wiping out the equivalent amount in government tax receipts. It's looking like it will cost us more than that.

Not true, only if we wanted to trade tarriff free (as in the single market) would we have to pay. Otherwise it's just the same as trading with the other world nations.
