Does TiVo have a scart socket?

Another forum member says that his friend was refused an upgrade from his V+ to a TiVo as his TV was too old!!!

It's claimed that the CS rep said that he must have a TV with an HDMI socket.

Does the TiVo not have a scart socket?

I have a CISCO TiVo but that is several years old and that has a scart socket on I don't know if the new TiVo has a scart socket, don't forget if you connect by scart it is only SD displayed, HD will only be displayed when using a HDMI connector.

Ken.

He would of course not get HD - hugely overated anyway unless hes got a massive TV.

Re: Does TiVo have a scart socket?

If he's using SCART on V+, he's obviously got a SCART lead already, so that isn't a problem.

I wonder if the story has been incorrectly relayed, and it's actually an RF connection he needs. Where's the original post, Richard?
