Every phone number I've ever had gets calls looking for the previous owners.

Though one time I got a robo-SMS to my landline that had Tom Baker reading out to me what sounded like a sordid love affair.

VM may not have leaked the details, cold calling companies use computer generated numbers by knowing correct ranges per area code

Yes ours is ex directory and not a day goes by without one or two cold calls.
