Well it has certainly improved the looks. Most modern cars would be improved by restyling with forward and reverse at 30MPH into 100 tonne blocks of concrete.

Modern cars look like they do because they've been built to crash in to concrete blocks and knock down crash test dummies without giving them a scratch.

I must admit I'm no fan of most current styling. I favour practicality over style, nice wide loading areas, plenty of seat/head room, sliding rear doors are great too.

With you there m8. It's the reason I keep the Metro alive because it's so practical: Big easy access tailgate with a low sill, MPG that you can actually achieve, not gimmick ridden, and it's actually a drivers car that's fun.
