The wall type to be wary about is made from engineering blue brick!
Like trying to drill through pebbles, had an internal wall to mount a hidden security safe.
Plugs were 150mm long, 1/2 hr per 4hole fix.

Make sure you use a good quality drill bit but theyu can cost quite a bit. Also make sure you use a hammer drill, preferably a corded one and not a rechargable, as you won't get anywhere with a standard drill. And let the drill do the work, don't try to force it into the brick but you will need to put a little preasure on it to keep it steady.
