Fairy control' to halt tiny doors in Somerset woods

Quote:
"Fairy control" has had to be brought in at a woods in Somerset to curb the "profusion of elfin construction".
Hundreds of fairy doors have been attached to the bases of trees in Wayford Woods, Crewkerne.
It is claimed the doors have been installed by local people so children can "leave messages for the fairies".
But trustee Steven Acreman said: "We've got little doors everywhere. We're not anti-fairies but it's in danger of getting out of control."

Not so easy nowadays. The construction of new fairy accommodation hasn't kept pace with the volume of immigrant European fairies. We'll soon be overrun with tights, little pointy hats and those little curled up booties they wear.
It's a disgrace. Their 'fairy ways' are also forbidden by Leviticus.

That's what the e in e-mail stands for, I think they call it elf-mail...
What a wonderful idea though, as for it damaging the trees is poppy-cock.

Good to get rid of the fairies as they are a foreign invader pushing out the native faerie who are much less inclined to cutesie public appearances and more to leading you off a cliff in the fog. No-one would ever consider putting in a door for a faerie, more like nailing them shut with silver nails coated in garlic, or is that for vampires and were wolves.
