Nigel Farage appears to dump cap on migrants with 'ethical' policy pledge.
"Ukip leader promises Australian-style points system allowing skilled migrants to come to UK but ‘shifts emphasis’ away from 50,000 cap on new arrivals".
Re: Nigel Farage appears to dump cap on migrants with 'ethical' policy pledge.
Skilled workers are what we lack, not car wash operators, scrap metal collectors, "charity" clothing collectors and Big Issue sellers.
But why do we lack these skilled people? Because the British school system is a mess that churns out exam-passers and not agile minds with the skills and desire to learn more.

You can only build so many new houses at a time.
If we stopped swinging cats. and swung hamsters instead. and if we did away with welfare, and charged for the use of the NHS. then there wouldn't be a problem because a lot wouldn't bother coming over to help to contribute to the UK.
