The EU is the only part of the world that's not growing. Our own trade with the bloc is shrinking. And I'm not listening to Farage, I'm listening to intelligent, restrained argument from the likes of this man:

Immigration controls are not why we should leave the EU; they're an extra bonus

My top 10 reasons for leaving the EU

Some one else who has all the reasons for leaving and none of the answers as to what it'll be like once we're out, Switzerland has taken two decades to achieve 120 bi lateral trade agreements, despite being handed a fair portion of them as a bribe to join the EU, the Europe USA trade deal has taken over ten years to sort, we'll just sit around and wait patiently for all this to be sorted shall we mr hannan.

Re: Theresa May: government likely to miss ‘tens of thousands’ migration target.

Yep it's been missed by a tiny amount*

Quote:
Net migration to the UK rose to 260,000 in the year to June - an increase of 78,000 on the previous year.
The figure is calculated by taking away the number of people leaving the country from the number coming in.
But according to the data, 583,000 people immigrated to the UK in the last year - an increase of 45,000 from the EU and 30,000 from outside.
