What about that perennial winter weather prediction? Have they changed that? The Atlas ski resorts will be sorely peeved if it doesn't snow. They rely on the tourist income y'know.

Sir Bob now wants those that bought the song on download to delete it and buy it again as 99p isn't enough.
Though not sure how that would work and the next time it would be free.

Sir Bob can take the single and put it somewhere. I bet that not all the money raised gets to Africa and the Ebola fight anyway.

While I suspect the money probably does all go to the cause, I also dislike the way Geldof has attempted to appropriate the cause and define who is supporting it, and who isn't, in terms of who supports his record, and who doesn't.

Re: Band Aid 30 not getting universal acclaim
The first one in the Eighties was an inspired action that snowballed into a global phenomenon. For that Geldof should be rightly lauded.
But this is just self righteous back slapping.

Probably on their Christmas CD, was it? Did it have all the usual stuff from Slade, Wham, Shakin Stevens and the rest?

Re: Band Aid 30 not getting universal acclaim
I heard the new version yesterday for the first time, its not very good, never liked sir Bob either, anyone would think he organised live aid all by himself and his angry act is really starting to wear thin imo, its ok being an angry young man quite another to be a miserable old git
