T3 and 10Mb in evening
I get the 30MB service I pay for in the day, but in the evening between 7pm and 12am I get no higher than 10MB.
Also my log says the below. My down levels are all 0 to 0.5 and SNR 38, upstream are both 45 so I think that is all fine.
Any ideas VM are sending a tech to have a look and refused to discuss high utilisation in the evening.
Thanks

which is what it is and hopefully the tech will admit to it. On the off chance that he/she bums around changing stuff for the sake of it to make it look like he is doing something, check your connection before he goes to make sure he hasn't made it worse.

Re: T3 and 10Mb in evening
Does the high utilisation cause the T3 timeouts as well as low speed?
The T3 timeouts seem to happen every hour in the day too, but speed is a constant 31.44 5am to 7pm, then I am below 10MB for the night.
Thanks again

Re: T3 and 10Mb in evening
nope, I believe the T3 timeouts are a result of noise on the line

high utilization causes t3s, waste of time sending a tech, no fault a tech can fix

Re: T3 and 10Mb in evening
I have T3 every hour and slow speed 7pm to 12am.
Speed fine in day, but T3s continue.
So 100% High utilisation?
Thanks

I haven't seen that, I have seen bad area and customers with no T3 timeouts, main cause I have seen is when there is FEC errors, low SNR and dodgy cabling or connectors.
