No, anyone can moan, take a look at the thread, "it's raining", "I'm bored", "my cat puked on my face", it takes special people to rant, mad people usually.

That Godforsaken upward inflection that people use, making every damned sentence sound like a question. I blame the Aussies.
People in general, it would seem.....
I don't mind the raised inflection in a female voice, what annoys me it americanism's, it's slowly taking over the language, people can't give a speech anymore it's an address for instance

My niece was criticising her friend for talking and acting American in her youtube videos.
and not long after she starts doing youtube videos and is doing exactly the same.

it's an epidemic.

Pointless Americanisms are the worst, like calling your mobile a "cell phone".

Awwww that one is one of the worst, someone kept saying that the other day I could actually hear my teeth gnashing at one point. "can I get" is another that particularly grates.

Re: Observational Rant of the Day.

Overuse of the word "one"

my one instead of mine
her one instead of hers

and so on.
----
Overuse of the word "proactive" and adjectives, adverbs and related. The word often required is "active" as opposed to "reactive" or "passive".
