The guy in my view deserves a medal. I have seen the video, and appluad his actions. The only thing that l would say, why didn't the rest of the public, some walking towards the male being detained.

They just walked past, while the officers were strugglinh to arrest the man.

Yet, it took a young guy, with guts of steel to lend a hand. Nice one matey.

EVERYONE, can detain a person who they think may be causing a problem. Its called CITIZEN ARREST.

Give the guy a medal.

Guts of steel or stupidity.

Many people don't want to get involved in things like that for many reasons.

Someone had to film it for youtube. they just didn't realise they were all doing it at the same time.

As an Ex special I'm surprised you're giving such advice, citizens arrest is potentially risky not to mention potentially illegal for the arrester, not something to contemplate just because you think someone may be causing a problem

Way things have gone ever since the police became a service rather than a force, I deal with the police regularly and am sad to.say the majority.wouldn't be capable of arresting me for instance if I resisted.
