is there any situation where you are not allowed to downgrade package?

Hello,

I've moved into a new flat and they are tied to a contract with virgin that includes a full TV package, despite not having a TV. What options would be available for down downgrading? They have been told in the past that downgrading is not possible but this doesn't sound correct to me. I don't know how far into the contracted period they are.

My flatmates, not mine. I just want to know if they've been told something incorrect by vm.

No idea on the official line but they've never taken issue with me increasing or decreasing my package no matter whether i'm still in contract or not.

Your best bet is getting him to call retentions, 150 then follow the "thinking of leaving us" options. Tell them your situation and they will help you as much as they can, retentions have always tried to do what's best for me when i call not what's best for the company wallet.

You may find that their package would increase in price if they were to remove the TV, and that's why they were advised not to remove it
