Superhub 2 better than 1?
Hello,
Ive been away for quite a while as ive moved over to the dark side (Sky Fibre).
I left VM because I had so many issues with the "Super" Hub, had to reset it 3 or 4 times a day, wireless would drop out etc.
Our work is just about to have VM internet installed and as part of this it looks like there is going to be some offers for staff members, I think its called Virgin Affinity Scheme, before thinking about coming back I was just wondering what the general opinion is of VM these days and the new Super Hub, im on 40Mbps with Sky and the connection is rock solid and i've never had to reboot the hub.
Thanks
Dave J

The Superhub 2 *is* better than the Superhub 1 but still not as good as a high-end standalone router.

If your original problem wasn't the SH1 but something in the circuit or congestion, you'd want to make sure that this has been resolved in your area. The SH2 is a credible device, though nothing beats modem mode.

ja, defo got to agree with Seph. I always wanted to stick with my vmng300 but had to reluctantly switch to a shub2 for 152mbits but I have got to say that it has been rock solid since day 1. I haven't got a problem with it in modem mode at all.

Re: Superhub 2 better than 1?
In that case, the SH1 was indeed a SuperDud!
Infraction award please.

Obviously not.
A bit of a lapse for you, Craigie.
