This would not be out of the ordinary if this was United States of America. Wonder who the owner/s are.

That was my first thought too, this kind of haul is likely quite common in homes in some states over there. Makes you appreciate guns not being so common over here thankfully.

At the bottom of the article it says more than 320 firearms have been seized since April 2013. Of course, the only thing significant about this seizure isn't that these guns have been removed from the streets, rather the number of firearms seized in one single instance - that makes it newsworthy apparently. Most people seem to be in the dark as to just how many guns do make it to our streets. Thank goodness here the UK we don't and have never had a culture of resorting to firearms to settle scores, because the guns are at least available despite the good efforts by the police. The guns are available, but people (usually) decide to resort to other means. Lets hope it stays that way.
It should be a big shock, and should've been front page news a long time ago, that after having been promised the handgun ban™ (for legally certified owners) would put an end to it all, it was just another lie.

Judging by this bit I'd imagine the owner was an underworld renter or storer of guns.

I wonder if the 'community' is OK with that...

Heh, looking at the state of most of those, I'd be more concerned about the thing blowing up in the hand of the owner than anything else.
