120M : How long does it take to be up and running from signup to installation

How long does it take on average from signing up to everything being up and running with VM?.

Been in temporary accommodation for 6 weeks using only mobile broadband running at a whopping 0.6mb so just wondering how much longer i will have to suffer once we move into our new place :P

They should have booked an installation date when you signed up but it can be anything from 2-4 weeks from the initial phone call. It is variable by area and the time of year (e.g. student cities will no doubt be fully booked September time) and there will be high demand around xmas. I wanted Sky+HD put into another room in my house in December and I had to wait two and a half weeks for someone to come out and it was an engineer from another area of the country because the dude who was covering my area was so busy.
