Re: What wireless adapter for 50mb?
You don't want just any Wireless-N adapter though, some will only sync at 75mbit (Which has real world speeds of much less than 50mbit).
http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-W...al+band+dongle
Something like that would be perfect, I think there's cheaper ones you can get as well.

What hub do you have. If you have a superhub 2 I would recommend a dual band

Re: What wireless adapter for 50mb?
I ended up getting one of these adapters below.
(TP-Link TL-WDN3200 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter)
It worked great for a couple of weeks in both modes 2.4ghz and 5ghz but then it got extremely hot and it will now only work in 2.4ghz mode, by the way this is my first replacement as I thought the first one was just faulty, so now I am going to be returning this back, what other adapters would you all recommend?

Re: What wireless adapter for 50mb?
I would recommend a n900 one as the superhub has 3 antenna and your dongle only has 2

Re: What wireless adapter for 50mb?
Not much point trying to get a dongle with 3 antenna, even if they tried fitting three in, the limited space in dongles will result in sub-par performance anyway due to lack of separation.

Re: What wireless adapter for 50mb?
What OS are you running?
My Asus USB-N53 worked perfectly on Windows 8, but on 8.1 5GHz stopped, after googleing I eventually found a solution, but cannot find it know.

Re: What wireless adapter for 50mb?
my n53 only works on the basic 5ghz channels, not the performance ones, might be worth changing it to channel 44

Interesting, I bought one of those, had trouble installing it but once I downloaded latest drivers it's been brilliant, always use it on 5Ghz, yes it does get warm in operation but so far working fine for a month so far!
