That is a very brief reference to a new UI. In fact they could claim that the recent update, that seems to have caused all the slow responses to the remote, is in fact a new UI.

This means that, unlike Sky where any slave boxes require only a connection to the mains, each additional Tivo will require a full installation and require a coaxial cable run to each box. One of the plus points for Sky Q is that each additional box can be located anywhere in the home where there is a decent wifi signal, is very easy to add on, can be installed by the customer and can in fact be easily moved.

Unless There is a Tivo slave box yet to be announced?
