....the BBC stations for England, Wales, Scotland and NI will replace them. These already broadcast on ex ntl between chs 930-936. This is part of the process (which is taking a 100 years to complete...) of aligning the channels between ex-telewest and ex-ntl.

The regional channels may reappear in the future, but as most of them are owned by national companies who are disinterested in local services, don't bet on them coming back. VM are clearly disinterested in local stations too! But if you want music in Welsh or Scots Gaelic, you'll be pleasantly surprised....
