Procter and Gamble is to get shut of its pringles brand to Kellogs!

This is an attempt by Kellogs to enter the savoury snacks market. In a few years, I think Kellogs will try and compete with Unilever and try to rival the Pot Noodle,Knorr,Marmite,Bovril,Birds Eye and Boursin brands which Unilever own.

Procter and Gamble has made it clear that it wants to stick to health care and beauty brands, In 1989 it acquired Sunny Delight and introduced it to the UK, but because of its natural colouring and high vitamin a content, the child induced 4 litres in a 24 hour period storing the Vitamin A content beneath skin appearing tanned. This made people to believe it was bad for health and then they sold it off to a new company who has reduced the Sugar content and made it more suitable for everyone.

Procter and gamble also sold off its vegetable oil brand, Criscan and next I expect them to offload Folgers Coffee, both of these brands are not currently sold or distributed in the UK as of yet.

There was a rumour that Procter and Gamble was to acquire Unilever, although I don't think it would be allowed due to competition reasons.
