We certainly need more evidence to conclusively say they did and this is an interesting article that we shouldn't go overboard. The article is saying there isn't evidence that these Trolls are linked to the Russian government but there is evidence they originate from Russia and so nothing wrong with investigating if there is a link.

I do think if we're not careful we succub to tunnel vision and refuse to take on-board anything that contradicts how we see the world. The article was good:
