Just watched "Jack is back" s09e00 looks promising but..........
Opening 5 mins wasn't as flowing as you would expect from 24. Sutherland looks very rusty in the choreographed fight scenes.
Small additional cut scenes looked more like padding.
Crowd shots in the market you could see some of the extras (stall holders) eyeballing the "cast members" and camera. Didn't see that in any of the first 8 seasons, maybe it's us Brits that ain't used to being in high profile tv series even if only for a fleeting moment.
Nice to see some of the old faces from earlier seasons and other appreciated tv shows.

I still don't understand how Ross McCall gets cast as a US national as his accent really is crap. That husky Bronx'ish dialect he portrays in everything he is in really is quite bad IMO.
Oh and he still says "dam it" lol.
