I think I replied to this on the thread you created on the Community Forum

Normally there is a big Fibre to coax converter somewhere on a road that connects to multiple addresses. You can tell what they are as they're much bigger and make a noise as they have fans and other power to them.

From that point it's then coax to your home.

With the newer FTTP area installs, the fibre is installed all the way to an address, and then each home has a converter. But these then need their own power supply.
