You can normally get same day appointments, but for non urgent or pre-arranged follow up appointments then it will be longer.
GPs are having their budgets cut, and the budget for general practice as a whole is being cut as a proportion of the NHS budget.

Even if they were seeing the same amount of patients waiting times would be increasing.

Still let's blame the immigrants.
