My dad grows all sorts in our garden and it's not exactly a huge plot either
He grows tomatos in the greenhouse, beans, shallots, cabbage, lettuce and other stuff no doubt.
The shallots he uses to make pickled onions....a LOT of pickled onions I might add. heh
