Ah, I have young friends who live in that area now, I bet it will have changed a fair bit since you lived there.
Moss Side/Rusholme used to be my assigned area when I was a young DHSS Inspector. Had a few hairy moments in the 1970s out visiting on my own all hours of the day and evening around there. I blame my streak of white hair on that period.
