If the UK isn't worth the bother, then why have we been targeted, and continue to be?

And if they are only bothered about the US, then what about Bali, London, Glasgow Airport, Riyadh, British Consulate in Istanbul, Madrid, and Munbai. As well as all the failed attempts, including the liquid bomb plot that planned to blow up 14 passenger airliners??

Also the terrorist cell arrested in Luton only a few weeks ago.

You have to also remember that the Olympics is a huge multinational stage, where they could gain maximum impact.

The plans aren't just to fight off attacks. They are also to prevent attacks, and to react to the results of an attack.
