It may be a good idea to start a new thead for this specific problem.
Also add as much info as you can.
Type of firewall if any,
AV software.
Are you on Broadband or dialup. there is almost always some activity on BB connections even if you are not using it for any reason.
Does your PC display any other problems?
Do you run Adware or spyware checkers?
Is there anything showing up in Task Manager that is suspicious?
