must be a slow gaming news day, this story pops up every now and again, and has done for years. The PS2 was known to be pain after the PSOne being good to develop for, but that "won" that round, where as the GC was widely acclaimed to be easy to to develop for.

the Dreamcast was reputed to be good to develop for as if you wanted to you could use the Windows CE OS on it rather than coding straight to the metal so to speak.

Good developers will make the most out of what they're developing for lazy ones will do simple cross platform games to try and make the most of their money but won't get full potential out of any system. Nothing new here, been happening for years.
