Just watched the last episode, and really liked it - I think they’ve set it up so there can be follow-ons; the girl and her brother, for instance (they’re from the novella "Strange Dogs"), and Duarte on the same planet.

I loved the SF Easter Eggs in this episode, especially the troopers names behind Bobbie.

I read the first five books (when they came out) - it’s been a while, so I’m going to read them all again, then the final four (and the novellas).

Spoiler: Ripley, Idaho, Hicks (& Vasquez and Hudson) Bowman, Ackbar, Nesmith, Thrace, Riker, Deckard, Quaid, and quite a few more).
