I am renting a flat in UK, and I learnt that the previous tenant of the flat is still using their old address (now my current address) for banking with several leading banks in UK. I also got to know that the previous tenant currently lives in a different address in the same city.

I am wondering as to what is my previous tenant's motivation to use my current address, and also wondering if there is any ulterior motives behind that?

No I do not know exactly, but with some effort, I can find it for sure.
