Telegraph reporting it now

Looks like this has been rumbling on for months. Intresting to see what impact this will have on the deal between SKY Media and Discovery Networks.

It's even more intresting when you visit the Sky Media website and click the various Discovery Channels links for more details.

https://www.skymedia.co.uk/channels/discovery/

Discovery Channel average monthly reach - 5m viewers
Discovery Science average monthly reach - 2m viewers
Discovery History average monthly reach - 2m viewers
Discovery Turdo average monthly reach - 2m viewers
TLC average monthly reach - 6m viewers

I'm not sure how average monthly reach is worked out. If anyone knows please share. What I do know is a drop of around 70% of their viewers for each channel is going to have a massive impact.

Wonder if Discovery Networks will be able to renegotiate how much they are paying to SKY Media or cancel their contract? Can't see them paying the same kind of money for less than a 1/3 of the original advertising reach.

This is going to be fun watch. Biggest cliffhanger since "Who shot JR?"
