Yes, that would be a stupid move by Sky. I subscribed to the sport channels for many years for my son in law really, who would occasionally watch the football. With the last price rise I cancelled it because it seemed like a waste of money just to pay out such an amount each month for an occasional viewing.

A £12 a month increase will lead to only the diehard sport fanatics (no offence, I meant that kindly!) being prepared to pay such a price.

Sky have milked this as much as they can. The law of diminishing returns will now cut in.
