There is no such thing as an ethernet splitter, the equivelent would be an ethernet switch.

However, assuming your not in modem mode, then as Jaymoss says, your hub should have 4 working ethernet ports, of which you're [apparently] only using one.

However, its not really clear how you are set up, and what you are trying to do.
