Please don't be taken in by SNP spin. Nothing has occurred since the 2014 referendum that Scottish voters were unaware of. Brexit is a handy pretext. If it had not been that, it would have been something else.
This is just it, Angus Robertson in the Commons, is screeching on about May's decision not to permit another indyref just yet as undemocratic, yet, we knew full well back in 2014, the SNP were never going to accept the democratic result of remain and they were just waiting in the wings and hoping for a Brexit.

I joined in on a Social Warrior discussion on facebook last night and some clown was arguing that the pound belongs to Scotland and it was Scotland who had invented the Pound so they have every right to keep it and UK would have to get their own currency .

History dictates otherwise of course and I enjoyed pointing this out to him, "The £, Pound Sterling, is the Worlds oldest Currency, going back over 1200 years, born about 775AD, when "sterlings" or silver pennies were the main currency in Anglo-Saxon kingdoms...

...Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of England during late antiquity and the early Middle Ages, conventionally identified as seven: East Anglia, Essex, Kent, Mercia, Northumbria, Sussex and Wessex. The first printed bank notes were created in 1853."
