Re: Sky TV (What's on soon)

Fifth series of A league of their own to air on Sky

The sports quiz returns to Sky1 HD on 20th April for its Olympic year series.

Quote:
A League of Their Own sees team captains Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff battle it out with weekly sporting guests. This fifth series sees some changes with a re-jig to the line up as comedian Jack Whitehall will join the blue team as a regular panellist.

John Bishop returns as a special guest and Georgie Thompson also returns for one show only in-between her F1 duties.

Jamie’s red team are joined by England star and Liverpool Captain, Steven Gerrard. Jamie and Jack try their hand at wing walking in the studio to see how long they can stay on top of a plane in the face of an industrial wind machine, meanwhile Jack’s initiation rite as the new regular panellist places him as a target goal for Jamie, John and Freddie whilst they see who can kick a football the hardest.

“Further guests joining the teams in the studio across the series include England and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, Stoke City striker Peter Crouch, the multi-medalled Jessica Ennis, current 5000m World Champion Mo Farrah, snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan, plus comedy stars David Walliams, Jimmy Carr and Micky Flanagan, as well as Christine Bleakley, Gaby Logan, Claudia Winkleman, Zoe Ball and many more.” Sky say.
