Personally, whether you like him or not, Hamilton will end his career as the best British driver ever. I think the Sports Personality is a silly award, but it's given by the British Broadcasting Corporation and its right that somebody who is proud to represent the UK has been recognised in this way.

Absolutely correct, he also pays tax in several other countries, and we all know mark will always disagree.
