Netflix has acquired international subscription streaming rights to CBS’ Zoo and The CW’s Jane The Virgin in more than Jane the Virgin50 countries around the world.
That is in addition to the domestic SVOD rights to the two CBS TV Studios series, which Netflix already owns in two separate deals, one for Zoo and one with CBS TV Studios and Warner Bros.

TV for previous seasons of the CW series. The new pact also is in addition to the first-window broadcast international deals for Zoo CBS Studios inked in June. It further solidifies Zoo‘s renewal chances.

Netflix has picked up global SVOD rights to USA’s upcoming drama series Colony, from Carlton Cuse, Legendary TV and Universal Cable Prods. That includes second-window domestic streaming rights to Colony in a deal similar to the recent one Netflix made for ABC/ABC Studios’ How To Get Away With Murder. Netflix will stream Colony about a year after its linear broadcast on USA in the U.S., on Bell Media’s Bravo in Canada, and after its linear broadcast in other territories worldwide.
