Lidl's "pound of rump" steaks, trimmed of fat and griddled medium-rare. Mushrooms and onions. Beer battered onion rings, oven chips and peas. Sauces.
Steaks were superb. So tender and flavourful.
I bought them 2 weeks ago but let them mature in the fridge as the use-by was the 21st. Never use steak on the day you buy it on. (Unless you like chewing leather)
