Imagine the viewing figures for GoT if had been shown on BBC One after the watershed, it would probably get at least several million viewers. What a shame all the best tv are in places you have to hunt for it and mainstream tv is left with celebrity chefs, reality and other crap.

I think GoT has set the standard for television drama, one where the bar had already been raised by Breaking Bad, but GoT is just so much more fun.

Which is exactly why GoT is delayed until 2019, so they can use the last episodes of that to promote the new spinoff series. It's all about the money with the yanks.
