Rg11 is required if your far away from the cabinet, if your already on the top tap and the signal is poor at the end of the drop you need a thicker cable. It's only no our omni box, the insides remain rg6.

Dave in India won't have a clue, no point calling them. All they say "your box is old, it's that" or there is a problem with your box.
