Virgin Media UK viewers may lose RTE One and RTE Two in North Ireland.
Virgin Media UK viewers may lose RTE Radio 1 UK Wide.
I know, MB, but VM could substitute those channels with something else if viewer numbers are sufficiently high to justify this.

In the meantime, RTE would have to survive with rather less money. I don't think RTE would take such a risk, and therefore Virgin and Sky can afford to play hardball.
