Also just noticed while it stops it drops the res of the video to minimum. u then have to select max yourself again.
Do a quick nslookup on YouTube.com - You'll see that everything is diverted to Virgin IP addresses.

I've recently set my main DNS to Google's (8.8.8.8) and this has remedied my YouTube woes. Browsing has been somehwat breezier, also.

You can try this on a single PC to prove a point or set it on your router if you want all LAN devices to go through it.
