Earlier on.... My one year old nephew stopped breathing this afternoon, his mum (My sister) had to essentially give him a gentle kiss of life and he started breathing again, she called an Ambulance to be told, they are extremely busy. Private ambulance crews are on strike where I live, they get paid 7.80 per hour and my pal who is all but a paramedic is only on 10 per hour, the company has been bought out but successive foreign companies who just keep cutting, the horror stories I've heard about the conditions and the standards of crews such conditions attract is truly shocking.
