I'm quite enjoying this. I don't know how it compares to the original (I never really watched the original), but it captures the slightly out of time weirdness of the original perfectly.
What I mean by that is that the original seemed to be set in a nightmarish 1950s holiday camp (with good reason
), and the remake still seems to be set in a nightmarish 1950s holiday camp.
